ABOUT THE LEGACY PROGRAM
The Legacy Program was launched in 2017 and is designed to show love to our athletes who return to Run Malibu for at least 3 consecutive years!
Athletes who achieve this milestone and confirm their eligibility will receive Legacy status; exclusive Legacy Swag, a special Bib and a unique backdrop to take photos during the race weekend #LegacyRunners
how to become a legacy RUNNER
You qualify as a Malibu Legacy Runner if you have completed at least the last two consecutive events and are signed up to run your third. Worried you may miss a year in person? Worry not, as Virtual events do count toward your legacy status.
To qualify for the rewards you must register before the program's deadline of September 1st.

As your loyalty grows through consecutive entries, you will qualify for further milestones at 5, 7 and 10 consecutive years.

LEGACY REWARDS
When you run for 3 consecutive years you will confirm your legacy status which comes with a special Bib and a unique Backdrop to take photos during the race weekend, and the following swag rewards.

* Since the program was launched in 2017, the first year you'll be able to qualify for the tumbler (7 consecutive years) will be 2023 and for the duffle bag (10 consecutive years) will be 2026.
