The vision of the Malibu Half Marathon, 5K and Kids Run has always been to create value for the Malibu community since they so generously welcome with open arms thousands of runners from out-of-town to run the famed Pacific Coast Highway and enjoy a memorable weekend at the beach.
That’s why we were beyond thrilled when The Malibu Times recently returned the love by featuring our race director, Erica Segel, in a profile called “Inspiring women to get involved one race at a time”.

While she remains dedicated to spearheading the upcoming Malibu Half Marathon, 5K and Kids Run taking place November 5 & 6th, she is also prepping for her new position as Chair of the Women’s Leadership Committee of the Malibu Chamber of Commerce.
“Running is like a life metaphor,” Segel said. “It’s about having a goal, working toward that and really surprising yourself about how much you can achieve.”
