California State University, Channel Islands.

Introducing the 2025
DOLPHIN 5K COURSE
Set entirely within the scenic California State University Channel Islands campus, the CSU Dolphin 5K offers a paved, approachable course perfect for runners and walkers of all levels.
The race kicks off on Ventura Street by El Dorado Park and winds through campus past Big Rock Park and the iconic Bell Tower, with views of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, surrounding hills, and nearby agricultural fields.
The route loops along Camarillo Street before circling back to finish near the start line providing excellent spectator access and central campus views.
With gradual inclines, flat stretches, a mid-course water station, and enthusiastic volunteers guiding the way, this 5K is equal parts accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding.

EVENT INFORMATION
Saturday, November 15, 2025:
9:00 am - Start Time
All 5K participants can pick up their race packet on race morning from 7:30am – 8:45am in El Dorado Park on the campus of CSU, Channel Islands.
A water station will be available on course near Miles 1 and 2. Portable restrooms will also be located on the water station.
Gear check is not available for the 5K. The race parking areas are adjacent to the start line. Participants can pick up their race shirt after their race if desired.
The 5K has a course time limit of 1.5 hours. Participants will need to maintain a pace of 28:00 minute-per-mile to complete the race.
Participants unable to maintain the required pace can continue to complete the race but will be asked to remain out of previously closed traffic lanes and follow regular traffic laws. Pacific Coast Highway will be reopened to vehicle traffic on a “rolling basis” determined by the 28:00 minute-per-mile pace.
Course support including aid stations, timing mats, and post-race refreshments will only be available to those that maintain the required pace. The Finish Line will remain open until 10:00am.

Overall Award Medals will be available for the top 3 female, male and non-binary winners.
Age Division awards are given to the top 3 female, male and non-binary finishers in the following age divisions:
Under 20, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Awards must be picked up on-site at the Awards table after the race in the Race Expo area.
