Nobody saw 2020 coming but, as they say "When life gives you lemons make Malibu Lemonade" 🌴🍹.
The Run Malibu team is excited to be launching our first-ever virtual event. We will be offering our standard distances, which we’ve hosted for the last 11 years, with a new twist; we'll be running from wherever you like, at whatever time is convenient, between the 7th and 8th November.

Note: This event is open to residents of the U.S. and U.S. Territories only, and medals may only be shipped to addresses within these regions.

Closer to race day we will publish the Athlete's Information Package. Please make sure to review all the information in the packet well before race day to prepare for your race weekend.
WHEN AND HOW CAN I SUBMIT MY RESULTS?
You can submit your result between November 7th and 8th, 2020 directly onto your RunSignUp.com profile. More information and tutorials on how to upload results will be made available in the weeks to come.
IS THERE A DEADLINE TO REGISTER?
Registration will be opened until November 6th or until sold out. We recommend registering before October 8th to be guaranteed to receive the race tee-shirt and medal prioir to the race weekend.
IS THERE AN OFFICIAL COURSE?
There's not an official race course, that's the beauty! Pick your favorite route, get your family & friends to prepare cute signs and meet you at the finish line, and don't forget to tag us @runmalibu with #MalibuVRTL for a chance to win a free entry to the 2021 event.
When will I receive my medal and t-shirt?
We recommend registering before October 8th to be guaranteed to receive the race tee-shirt and medal prioir to the race weekend. If you register after this deadline you will receive the race shirt and medal no later than November 23rd.
What is included with the registration fee?
Included in the registration fee is your virtual race entry, our signature performance shirt, a finisher medal and for the first 1000 runners a Run Malibu buff (neck cover).
When and Where can I run/walk?
The VRT Half Marathon & 5K Run/Walk event will take place wherever you like, at whatever time is convenient, between the 7th and 8th November.
Will the virtual event count towards my legacy staus?
Yes, absolutely! Your loyalty and determination to be part of the Run Malibu experience will always be rewarded.
Can I partecipate in multiple virtual events?

Are International participants allowed?
Unfortunately, not at this time. This event is open to residents of the U.S. and U.S. Territories only, and medals may only be shipped to addresses within these regions. Please note that medals cannot be shipped to a PO Box or APO Box. After 2 attempts to deliver medals to the address provided, no additional attempts will be made.
