RACE DAY PARKING & DIRECTIONS
Head over to the Race Guide for everything you need to know about #RunMalibu. Please make sure to review all the information in the guide well before race day to prepare for your race weekend.
START / FINISH LINE LOCATION
The Start / Finish Line are both located at Zuma Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Los Angeles, 30050 W. Pacific Coast Hwy. Malibu, CA. The first parking lot is reserved for the Malibu Expo & Race (map & directions).
Make sure to pre-pay for Race Day Parking and skip ahead of everyone on race day!
You can pre-purchase Zuma Beach parking tickets at the Malibu Expo & packet Pick-up.
PARTICIPANTS & SPECTATORS PARKING
More than 2000 parking spaces are available at the Zuma Beach Parking in a chain of 12 parking lots along the beachfront. Access to all the parking lots is via the entrance gates off Pacific Coast Highway at the south end of the beach. The last parking two lots are reserved for the Malibu Race. There is no parking on Hwy 1 on race day. Lots are filled starting from the lot adjacent to the Start / Finish line up to the one by the entrance located about 1 mile away.
zuma beach parking access
On Saturday from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM and on Sunday from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM, due to the race road closure, DO NOT make a turn from PCH towards the main gate. Enter only from Busch Dr and use the under-passage.
Parking at Zuma Beach and Point Dume is $5 and is cash only. There will be a limited supply of parking tickets for pre-purchase at packet pickup on Sat Nov 3rd (also cash only). Display your parking ticket on your vehicle dashboard at all times to avoid a $63 parking citation.
FROM LOS ANGELES
FROM THE VALLEY or THE SHERATON AGOURA HILLS HOTEL
If you're planning to get dropped off or ride with Uber or Lyft, Do NOT stop along the southbound shoulder of PCH or enter the Zuma Beach parking or you'll be charged regardless of the length of your stay inside of the parking lot. Plan to be dropped off at the Trancas Shopping center located between Trancas Canyon Rd and PCH (where Vintage Grocers is located). We recommend using the crosswalk to reach the start line.
